Monggar police arrested a-57-year-old man on Saturday for an alleged stabbing case. The man is suspected of stabbing a couple at Hurungpaam in Monggar on Saturday evening.
The accused and the victims allegedly got involved in an argument under the influence of alcohol. The wife who is 32-year-old suffered injury near her chest while her 23-year-old husband suffered multiple injuries on his left hand. According to the police, the accused confessed to the crime. Both the victims were admitted to Monggar Regional Referral Hospital and are reportedly in stable condition now. Three of them are working in a poultry farm in Monggar. Police are investigating the case.
