More than 2,200 graduates to attend NGOP

With the theme “Inspiring young leaders of Happiness”, the National Graduate’s Orientation Programme (NGOP), this year will begin on August 13. More than 2,200 graduates have already registered for the Orientation Programme.

The Labour Minister, Dorji Wangdi, said there is an increase of about 35 percent in the total number of graduates this year as compared to last year.

The minister added that the main objective of the programme is to orient the graduates on the government policies, culture and tradition, and also to develop leadership and positive values among the graduates through personal development programme.

According to the registration statistics, of the total graduates, about 1,100 have graduated from within Bhutan, while the rest from the universities outside Bhutan.
