(Prostitution arrest update): Four more women have been arrested in Paro for prostitution after a thorough investigation by the police.

Two of them were arrested yesterday and the other two last Friday. The arrest was made after three people- a 26-year-old Bhutanese woman, a 20-year-old Indian man and a 46-year-old businesswoman were arrested on Tuesday in Tshongdue, Paro for involving and promoting prostitution.

Police said those arrested so far will be sent to Dzongkhag court. This is the first such prostitution cases reported in Paro Dzongkhag.
