People returned to the Memorial Chorten in Thimphu after nineteen months. It was closed in March last year after a tourist was detected with COVID. Our reporter visited the site as it opened to the public today.
But police on duty did not allow filming inside the premises. About a 100 people were seen circumambulating the Chorten.
It will remain open from 5 AM till 8 PM.
