Two thousand six hundred and twenty three university graduates have registered for the Bhutan Civil Service Examination 2012. It is the highest number of graduates to register for the exam so far.

In 2011, the number was 1,856.

According to the Royal Civil Service Commission, there are nearly 600 vacancies in the Civil Service for successful BCSE 2012 graduates. This is an increase of over 30 percent, which is attributed to increased vacancies in teaching and professional graduates.

The preliminary Examination is scheduled on August 11, 2012.  For details of the vacancies, you can log onto www.rcsc.gov.bt/graduate_exam
