HH awards Toedtse Jim to Khenpo Karma Loday

His Holiness the Je Khenpo awarded Tashi Lekhdhar and Toedtse Jim to Khenpo Karma Loday at Genzhug Kepailing in Punakha this morning.

The special award is an honorary appreciation for 59-year-old Khenpo Karma Loday’s unwavering service for the benefit of all sentient beings. He is from Toepaisa in Punakha. He started his monastic education at the age of seven at Dechen Phodrang Monastic School in Thimphu. He continued his studies at Chagri Dorjeden Monastery in Thimphu. He also studied in India for 10 years. He served as a teacher at Tango in Thimphu.
