Ugyen Academy FC defeated Paro Rinpung FC in the ongoing BoB Bhutan Premier League today. The match was played at the Woochu Sports Arena in Paro.
The underdogs, Paro Ringpung FC, put up a good fight and held the visitors to a three-goal draw in the first half. However, Ugyen Academy FC came back stronger in the remaining 45 minutes to find the back of the net twice. Paro Rinpung FC managed to close the gap by just a goal. The game ended with a score 5-4.
Tomorrow, the league leaders, Thimphu City FC, will play against Druk Lhayul FC at the Changlimithang stadium.
