Bhutanese Olympic team receives warm welcome

The Bhutanese participants in London Olympics were officially welcomed to the Olympic Village by the Mayor of the Village in a lively and colourful ceremony. The Bhutanese Flag was raised, and the National Anthem played.

SherabZam will take part in the Archery Competition, while Kunzang Choden in the Shooting competition. They were accompanied by their coaches, Tshering Choden and Dorji Phurba, along with Bhutan Olympic Committee officials Karma Penden, the Chef de Mission and Michael Rutland, the Bhutan Olympic Attache.

The Secretary General of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and the President of the Archery and Shooting Federation will arrive in London on Thursday.
