Played at the Changlimithang, the visitors managed to keep the half time score to a respectable two-zero.
However, three goals in the space of five minutes in the second half led to a dismal score line for Gelephu FC. The win takes Thimphu City top of the league table on goal difference.
Tomorrow, High Quality United will host Paro Rinpung FC at the Changlimithang Stadium.
