Residents of Lunana Gewog in Gasa started receiving the COVID-19 second dose from today morning. Health officials have been trying to airlift the vaccine from Paro since July 15 but the bad weather hindered the flight plans.
The gewog received 510 doses of Moderna and 100 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine today for the eligible population of more than 500 in the gewog.
