Recruitment and selection regulation launched

The Labour and Human Resources ministry launched the recruitment and selection regulation, today in the capital. The purpose of the regulation is to ensure a uniform system for transparent and effective employment process. It will also ensure recruitment of  right person with transparency, fairness and merit based process, free of any discrimination.

Speaking at the occasion, the labour minister, Dorji Wangdi, said this was a move to move forward. Lyonpo added that this regulation would help solve the problem of unfair treatment in recruitment, selection, transfers, training, promotions and dismissals.

The ministry also launched three guideline programs, viz. university graduates internship, pre-employment engagement and apprenticeship training programs.
