The second nationwide vaccination drive is in full swing with over 155 thousand people vaccinated as of today afternoon. However, the people of Lunana Gewog in Gasa are yet to receive the vaccine. The helicopter service has tried several times to airlift the vaccine from Paro since July 15 but the flight has to be cancelled every time due to the bad weather.

A doctor from the National Referral Hospital and a Health Assistant of Lunana Primary Health Center are still waiting with the vaccine in Paro. They are planning to airlift the vaccine again tomorrow.

There are more than 500 people eligible for the vaccine in the gewog.
