Gomo FC finally ended their winless run in the ongoing BOB Bhutan Premier League with a five-one victory over Gelephu FC. Before the match in Punakha earlier today, both teams were yet to register a point this season. Wearing the red jersey, Gomo FC opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the match. Three minutes later they doubled their lead.

In the second half, Gomo FC scored three more goals before Gelephu FC grabbed a consolation goal in the 95th minute. The loss keeps Gelephu FC languishing at the bottom of the league table conceding a mammoth 40 goals in eight matches.

Tomorrow, fifth-placed Druk Lhayul FC will be in Punakha to take on Ugyen Academy FC.
