His Majesty grants audience to De-suups

His Majesty the King granted audience to the fourth batch of De-suups at Wangduephodrang yesterday.

Addressing the De-Suung trainees at the Tengchholing military academy in Wangduephodrang, His Majesty said, “As De-suups, all of us in this room, in spite of our different backgrounds, are united by the desire to serve our fellow citizen and nation.”

Later, His Majesty granted audience to the Dzongkhag officials, Gups, Mangmis and Tshogpas of Wangduephodrang.

On Thursday, His Majesty granted audience to the Dzongkhag administration officials, and local leaders of Punakha Dzongkhag.

His Majesty was accompanied by Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen.
