To commemorate the Coronation Day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, 15 tourist guides and 15 foresters came together to plant over hundred tree saplings of various species in Paro, today.

The 2nd of June, also the coronation day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, is celebrated as Social Forestry Day every year.

According to the guides, who are mostly kidu recipients, they dedicate the plantation as a gesture of gratitude to their Majesties and the government for looking into their welfare in these unprecedented times.
