DNT reveals its candidates for bye-elections

The Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa revealed its candidates for Monggar and Nganglam constituencies bye-elections today. Karma Lhamo will contest from Monggar and Karma Dorji from Nganglam constituency. The party office announced it earlier today. 42-year-old Karma Lhamo is a former Member of the Parliament and 45-year-old Karma Dorji is one of the founding members of the DNT party.

Meanwhile, Druk Phuensum Tshogpa will be announcing their candidates later this week. As per sources, Dorji Youden, who served as a Librarian in one of the schools in Lhuentse is the DPT’s Monggar candidate. And Rinchen Pelzang, who served as a Gewog Extension Officer is the candidate from the Nganglam constituency.

The bye-election will be held on 29th June.
