The Royal Bhutan Police, for the first time, will now have its own institution of service board. The Minister of Home and Cultural Affairs, Minjur Dorji, inaugurated the institution of the Police Service Board, today.
The Board will frame guidelines and policies, update rules and regulations of RBP. It will also take administrative decisions, promotion, and appointment and removal police personnel among others.
The Board will have 11 members including one from Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs. They will meet twice in a year.
