To lift the lockdown and to rule out the presence of any residual COVID-19 cases in the community, the health ministry will be conducting mass community screening for Phuentsogling from tomorrow.

According to the ministry, an individual from every household will be tested. The ministry recommends the most mobile person in the family, preferably who is unvaccinated should represent the family for the testing. Individuals who have been infected and recovered, children below 5 years of age and those who have been tested in the past 5 days are not eligible for the screening. The eligible individuals are asked to visit the testing centre on the given date.
