His Holiness the Je Khenpo launched two books on the moenlam chhenmo of Lhuentse and Chhukha Districts, today. The books were launched at the Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang in Autsho, Lhuentse.

After its launch, the books were distributed to some of the devotees gathered at the event. The books, which contain over 140 pages, have been written both in English and Dzongkha, to highlight the sacred sites of Lhuentse and Chhukha districts. It will also archive the past moenlam chhenmo conducted by His Holiness the Je Khenpo and also impart to the public the significance and benefits of moenlam chhenmo.

Upon the instruction of His Holiness the Je Khenpo, the Translation and Research Office of His Holiness the Je Khenpo was established in 2017 to work on the publication of books related to moenlam chhenmo. So far, the Translation and Research Office of His Holiness the Je Khenpo in collaboration with the Dratshang Lhentshog and Dzongkhag Administrations published four books on the moenlam chhenmo of Haa, Bumthang, Chhukha and Lhuentse districts. They are also working to publish books on the remaining moenlam chhenmo, which were conducted in other dzongkhags as well.
