Her Majesty the Queen Mother launches Textile Museum Virtual Exhibition and website

Her Majesty the Queen Mother Sangay Choden Wangchuck launched the Textile Museum Virtual Exhibition and website today. The first virtual exhibition showcased some of the important and extraordinary textiles from the national archive.

The Textile Museum under the Department of Culture with the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs was established in 2001 with 244 artefacts comprising of important examples of Bhutanese textiles.
