The prizes to the winners of a Photo Story competition highlighting India-Bhutan Friendship were awarded today at the India House Estate in Thimphu.

Norbu Gyeltshen bagged the winning prize. He had submitted a photo of the reception hosted by His Majesty The King for Indian teachers in 2018 organised as an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Bhutan. The other three winners were Dechen Choden, Milan Gurung and Kencho Wangmo. Their entries depicted the unique bonds of friendship between the two countries. The prize-winners were awarded a merit certificate and a smartphone each.

The photo contest was jointly organised by the Embassy of India and Bhutan Echoes. The contest was held on the 16th of December last year.  During the occasion, the Indian Ambassador to Bhutan conveyed warm wishes on the occasion of His Majesty’s upcoming 41st birth anniversary.
