According to a source, the cause of the fire is suspected to be from an electric short circuit. The concerned officials from the dzongkhag and the local government leaders conducted the site examination today.

His Majesty’s Royal Semso of Nu 10,000 each and some basic essentials were handed over to the victims through the Dzongkhag Kidu Office.

Tshetenang village is located 21 kilometres away from the Punakha Dzong.
