Pur-Threl (scattering of holy ashes) of His Holiness the late Je Thrizur

His Majesty The King, His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, and members of the Royal Family graced the Pur-Threl (scattering of holy ashes) of His Holiness the late Je Thrizur at the Mochhu in Punakha. The Prime Minister and representatives from the government also attended the ceremony which was presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo.

His Holiness Je Thrizur passed away on 8th April, at Tango Dodeyna at the age of 95. The Purjang, a State Funeral, was held on 7th November.
