Police forward alleged illicit trafficking of cannabis and hashish cases to OAG, Monggar/Lhuentse

Lhuentse police forwarded a case of alleged illicit trafficking of cannabis to the Office of Attorney General, yesterday. Police arrested two men from Autsho in Lhuentse on last Wednesday in possession of over a hundred sticks of hashish. The perpetrators who are in their twenties are from Trashigang and Monggar.

Meanwhile, Monggar police forwarded a case of alleged illegal smuggling of hashish and cannabis to the Office of Attorney General for prosecution on Monday. Police arrested three men, two men in their twenties and one in his early thirties, from Changshingpek in Monggar Gewog in possession of over two kilograms of cannabis and some sticks of hashish on 19th October.
