Search team recovers the body of the 16-year-old monk from CHP dam

The body of the 16-year-old monk who was washed away by the Wangchhu from Chhukha on October 19 was recovered this morning from the Chhukha Hydropower Plant dam.

Ever since the incident, Police, Desuups, monks, Dzongkhag staff, search and rescue team from DGPC and local people have been searching for the missing person. The dam is nearly 2 KM from the spot where the incident took place.

The body was handed over to the father today.
