Namkha Gyeltshen, Bumthang’s first florist

Fifty-five-year-old Namkha Gyeltshen, a retired forester in Bumthang has had a fulfilling career. Besides his regular job, he has been a lifelong environmentalist and a nature lover. His love for nature has influenced his everyday life, raising flowers and trees, not just for business but as a vocation he dearly relishes. This is a story of Bumthang’s first florist whose love for flowers and plants has not just earned him money but happiness and contentment as well.
