Although the country entered the final phase of unlocking last week with the easing of several restrictions and inter-district vehicular movements being allowed, Tsirang district is, however, taking no chances. Focusing on safety and minimising risks of local transmission of coronavirus, the district has come up with its own internal COVID-19 preventive measures. The protective measures have been submitted to the Southern COVID-19 Taskforce in Phuentshogling and will be put in place for a period of 21 days.
