The Preliminary Examination (PE) of the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) 2020 is scheduled for November 8 this year. It was announced by the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC), today.
According to the RCSC, the BCSE this year has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was mainly due to the delay in the graduation of candidates from the various colleges and the lockdown situation in the country. Over 3,000 graduates appear the PE every year. The e-registration for the PE started beginning today.
RCSC officials said they will be continuously assessing the COVID-19 situation in order to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations and the safety of all the candidates. The examinations will be conducted in strict compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols.
Meanwhile, the main examination will be conducted in January next year.
