With the lockdown restriction eased across the country, farmers are now back in their fields, farming and tending their livestock.

With no positive cases reported outside Paro and Phuntshogling, the government has started relaxing lockdown protocols in the country. Beginning today, shops were allowed to open and movement of people within their own gewogs was allowed.

In Bumthang, farmers and shopkeepers welcomed the easing of restrictions.
