It will be a long wait for the people of Chhoekhor Toed in Bumthang before they get their road blacktopped. Some people even wonder if it would ever happen.

The matter was discussed in Gewog Tshogde and Dzongkhag Tshogdu sessions in the past but not much has changed. Most stretches of the road are in poor conditions. As the Gewog office is located near Bumthang town, the road remains as a farm road which is ineligible for blacktopping.
