The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the closures of hot springs and mineral springs for the public. Taking advantage of the situation, Dangchhu Gewog in Wangdue Phodrang is developing Wangchhu, the mineral spring in the gewog. Mineral springs are believed to produce water containing minerals and medicinal value.
