The National Assembly after re-deliberating on Budget Appropriation Bill for Financial Year 2020-2021 passed the bill amounting to nearly Nu 74B today.
The house also adopted the Supplementary Budget Appropriation Bill for Financial Year 2019-2020 amounting to over Nu 1B along with all seven temporary fiscal measures.
Although the National Council proposed to provide transfer benefits to civil servants who are required to move to a new place of posting based on government directives, the house rejected the recommendation.
