Around 500 dogs were vaccinated in Kanglung to prevent the spread of rabies

Mass dog vaccination in Kanglung, Trashigang was carried out for three days by the Trashigang Dzongkhag Livestock office and Regional Livestock Development Centre to prevent the spread of rabies in the region.

Around 500 dogs were vaccinated since Tuesday after a dog in Kanglung died from rabies on 7th June.

Dogs from nearby gewogs will also be vaccinated to prevent the spread of rabies.
