Fall armyworm wreaks havoc in Rilangthang village, Tsirang

Farmers in Rilangthang village in Sergithang Gewog, Tsirang have been grappling with fall armyworm outbreak in their maize fields.

Fall armyworm is a Lepidopteran pest that feeds in large numbers on leaves and stems of crops including vegetables. Pest control measures have been ineffective leaving the farmers with major crop damages.
