After almost a decade, some seven acres of land belonging to a private individual in Rilangthang village in Sergithang Gewog, Tsirang is being revived to arable land.
The land had been left fallow after the landowner could not clear construction debris, left by a private company, who had hired the land to set up a road blacktopping plant for blacktopping Tsirang-Wangdue Phodrang highway in 2012.
The Agriculture Sector in Tsirang with support from the Dzongkhag Administration is carrying out the land reclamation works.
