More than two weeks since the last revision, fuel prices in the country is hiked further. At Lungtenzampa fuel station in Thimphu, a litre of diesel will now cost Nu 48.23 and a litre of petrol Nu 49.77.
The price of diesel was Nu 41.41 and petrol Nu 48.94 till yesterday. The price of diesel saw an increase of Nu 6.82. The price of fuel started to increase from the mid of last month after a drastic decrease in its price due to the lockdown measures implemented by most of the countries to contain the spread of COVID-19.
