His Majesty The King offered prayers and Karmi Tongchoe at the conclusion of the Gongdue Kangsha Kurim. The prayer ceremony was held at the Tango Dorden Tashithang Buddhist University for all the people of the world who lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The concluding ceremony coincided with the 49th day since the passing of His Holiness Je Thrizur Tenzin Doendrup, the 68th Je Khenpo. The Kurim and the prayers for late Je Thrizur are being presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo. The Prime Minister and senior government officials also offered prayers and lit butter lamps at the ceremony.
