The ongoing construction of a farm road at lower Kuengarabten village, under Draggteng Gewog in Trongsa, is expected to revitalise hundreds of acres of fallow wetlands in the village.
However, some landowners are disappointed as the road construction runs through their private lands, causing a permanent loss of their wetlands with no compensation schemes in place.
