Heavy rainfall early this month washed away the road at Sonam-bja along the Jumja -Lhamoidzingkha primary national highway in Chhukha. Since then, the officials from the department of roads have been undertaking restoration works on site. After mobilising old bridge parts from Samtse and Pasakha, a bailey bridge was launched yesterday.
