The 5th National Bodybuilding Championship will start from tomorrow at the swimming pool complex in Thimphu. The Bhutan Bodybuilding and Weight Lifting Federation will introduce the open weight category that is similar to the International Federation of Bodybuilder’s Mr. Olympia Championship where the top 10 will be selected in the final.

The competition will lead to the selection for the 9th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship, which will be held in Maldives and the Asian Championship in China this year.

A total of 13 bodybuilders are participating in the Championship. The championship is organised by Bhutan Bodybuilding and Weight Lifting Federation.
