LG leaders request a reduction in land tax for landowners, Bumthang

Local Government leaders in Bumthang are requesting a reduction in land tax for landowners in Bumthang town. The municipal office proposed for land tax collection starting this year from the town’s Lag Thram (land ownership certificates) holders during the last Dzongkhag Tshogdu.

Landowners in Bumthang’s new town were issued land ownership certificates last year.
