All 43 senior citizens who are Kidu recipients in Trongsa received rations and multivitamins as Soelra from His Majesty The King.
The supplies were made at this point of time, besides their monthly living allowance, to cope up with the situation during COVID-19 pandemic when the rest of the people are busy stocking the essential food items. The Kidu office in Trongsa has been distributing the Soelra since 23rd of March. As of yesterday, all Kidu recipients have received the Soelra.
Goensho (Elderly) Kidu recipients are those senior citizens who are paid a monthly living allowance for not having anyone to look after them.
The elderly have expressed their deep gratitude and prayed for His Majesty’s long life and continued peace in the country.
