The World Food Programme (WFP) donated two mobile food storage units to the government today for COVID-19 response.

The storage units, worth USD 45,000 have a capacity of 500 metric tons each.

WFP also extended other technical support such as monitoring food price in the region by analysing food price in India from where Bhutan imports food. The analysis would assist in guiding food distribution and ensuring food quality and safety.
