(Brief) Her Majesty the Queen Mother, Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck launched a book on Indian Royalties by Pramod Kumar KG last evening. The book “Posing for Posterity: Royal Indian Portraits” is a collection of photographs and portraits of Indian rulers and leaders, most of which, according to the writer, is being published for the first time.

The author said he decided to launch the book in Bhutan since most of the Bhutanese youngsters are starting to take interest in photography. He also hopes the introduction of the book would encourage Bhutanese photographers to write books on Bhutanese photographs.
