The body of the ten-year-old boy who went missing from Mao River in Gelegphu on 1st March was found yesterday afternoon.

Truckers in Gelegphu found the body around one and a half kilometre away from the place where the little boy was last seen swimming. The truckers came across the body while loading boulders in their trucks.

The parents of boy lodge a complaint with the Gelegphu police on 1st March after the boy went missing and the search for the missing boy was started. Police, Army, Desuups, teachers, and Red Cross volunteers combed the area in search of the boy but could not find any trace of the missing boy.

Gelegphu Police handed over the body to the parents.
