Gyalse Trulku appointed as the Chief Monastic Abbot of Tango University of Buddhist Studies

Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body appointed Gyalse Trulku Jigme Tenzin Wangpo as the Chief Monastic Abbot of Tango University of Buddhist Studies today.

Gyalse Trulku was officially recognised as the 8th reincarnation of Desi Tenzin Rabgay at the age of five and received monastic education from various teachers. He has a Masters Degree in Buddhist Philosophy and had completed the three years retreat in 2018.
