Gyalsey Trulku Jigme Tenzin Wangpo, along with Gyalwa Shacha Trulku and Je Geduen Rinchen’s Trulku Yangseys, consecrated 2200 Lung Dhar or prayer flags hoisted along the roads leading to the Buddha Dordenma statue at Kuensel Phodrang and Sangaygang yesterday.
The initiative commemorates the birth anniversary of His Majesty The King.
Besides, the prayer flags also represent the collective prayer from the people of Bhutan for the auspicious birth of a Royal sibling to His Royal Highness the Gyalsey and the ushering of a new decade of peace and prosperity for the nation.
