His Holiness the Je Khenpo presides over Sangay Menlha Drupchen

His Holiness the Je Khenpo graced the celebration of His Majesty’s 40th Birthday at Namdruling Geonzin Dratshang in Lhuentse today.

Over a thousand people from Lhuentse Dzongkhag gathered at the courtyard of the Dratshang to offer their prayers and wishes on His Majesty’s Birthday. Students from different schools, local communities and Dzongkhag dancers performed various cultural programmes to the public gathered in the courtyard.

In the afternoon His Holiness also presided over the last day of the weeklong Sangay Menlha Drupchen conducted for the wellbeing of His Majesty The King.
