His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over a weeklong Sangay Menlha Drupchen along with one hundred and fifty monks at the Namdruling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse starting from today.
The drupchen is being performed for those people who got infected by the outbreak of coronavirus across the world. In particular, the prayer is conducted to prevent the spreading of the disease in the country and also for the well being of His Majesty The King.
Interested devotees will also get nga-ma and nga-chu from the drupchen. The drupchen will end on Thursday coinciding with His Majesty The King’s birthday.
