Two-day strike in Assam

(Brief) The border gates at Samdrup Jongkhar remained closed from today following a two-day strike in the Indian State of Assam. The strike was called by All Bodo Student’s Union or ABSU. This is the second strike in just over a span of 10 days.

The movement of vehicles and people out of the border gate in Samdrup Jongkhar are restricted.
